This comic contains the occasional butt and penis, and also some rather colorful language and some highly sexual situations. And by "occasionally," I also mean currently. Like, on the front page. I knew a guy in high school, he was one of the popular kids, always had a girl on his arm. I worked with him on a project once; turned out he kept nerf weapons and board games in his closet. He was LITERALLY a closet nerd.
I’m the type of person that keeps a lot of details about myself guarded upfront. And then the more comfortable I get with someone the more my weird little quirks a reveal. I think if I were to let it all out right away I would scare pretty much everyone away.

Hey, We met on Tumblr, just found the site. Cool. đŸ™‚
Oh hey, how’s it going? Glad you found the site!
Honestly I kind of deal with the same issue with my mother. I really wish we had a stronger relationship, but she doesnt understand me at all and lets her ‘spirituality’ get in the way of everything
Fortunately I’ve never had anybody’s spirituality get in the way of my relationship with them, but finding deeper connections with people is always something I’ve struggled with. For a long time I didn’t think I had anything in common with my father. He’s a pretty staunch republican and even though he’s a great guy, I don’t think he was exactly counting on ending up with a gay son. But eventually we bonded over our shared love for music, and now our relationship is stronger than ever. I hope you and your mother can find some common ground too, because having that shared interest can be a great way to break down the walls.
